Fortran iostat non-zero error codes don’t have standard values, but there are constants in Fortran for some important error conditions. Intel oneAPI iostat codes are documented in the Internet Archive as Intel has removed the page from their website, perhaps due to the human cost in maintaining this large list–it may be partially out of date.
