How to Install Jabref on Linux

Here’s how to install Jabref on Linux:

Install JavaFX

apt install openjfx

If this doesn’t work, consider apt install oracle-java8-installer instead.

Download Jabref platform independent

Run Jabref by

java -jar JabRef-5.*.jar
