If using an electric vehicle for more than around-town commuting, and specifically when public fast charging (level 2 or 3) is vital to one’s EV usage (for example on road trips) then a key characteristic when selecting an EV (even for a rental) is the charging curve data. Cars in the same pricing tier (for buying and especially renting) may have drastically different charging curves that can make a trip easy or time-consuming.
